Urban Decay’s Colour Renewal

Urban Decay produces amazing products, and recently all the focus has been on the Naked range, but I have to say I was glad to see a return to old form with the launch of new lip glosses, blushers, and eye shadows. Colour is back, bringing with it huge variety. I had the privilege of being introduced to these new products at the Urban Decay counter in Debenhams, Cork today.

Firstly, the Revolution High Colour glosses. They are simply amazing. There are fourteen shades and the colour variety is so broad; from deep plums, to vibrant purples and pinks, all the way to the prettiest nudes. They are €19 each. The pigmentation in these glosses is astounding. They are almost like liquid lipsticks, super creamy with seriously long-wearing colour. They don’t feel sticky or tacky, and even when the gloss fades the colour is still extremely intense and lips are nourished. Have a look at the photos below, I swatched a few of my favourites to show off how pigmented they are.

I fell for them all but had to bring Apocalypse home with me! It’s second from the left on the bottom

Next up; AfterGlow 8-hour Powder Blush. Love at first sight. With twelve new shades we are spoiled for choice, and the shades are fantastic. When blushers launch it’s very rare to get so many. I can’t do these justice trying to describe the colours so have a look at the photos below and I dare you to only pick one favourite! I’m loving Rapture. There are three shimmer shades and the rest are matte, so you are sure to find your perfect blush in this range. They are €28 each.

Last but not least; Eight new eye shadow shades. I have always been a huge fan if Urban Decay shadows, these new ones are just added to my list! They are beyond velvety and extremely blendable. The shades are fantastic also. there are two beautiful matte shades and six stunning duo-shades. I swatched some of them so have a look at the photo below to truly appreciate the magic of duo-shades, they have so much dimension and texture. These are all €18 each.

I am in love with these new products. The vibrant colours are so refreshing and fun after the relatively subdued era of Naked. The number of shades available within these three products is fantastic, there really is something for everyone in these new collections.
